I wrote a post last night, but was working on tweeking it this afternoon. I cannot bring myself to finish when my heart is heavy as I watch the images of Haiti on my television screen. My husband, Mini-Me and I spent time in Haiti this past summer helping to build an orphanage.
Thus far, we have not heard from our friends in Haiti. Many of us who have a connection there have made attempts in many different methods. Nothing. We think the village we worked in would sustain minimal damage because it is about 60 miles away and in a mountainous pocket. We are hoping to find that our friends are safe. However, a few of our key leaders there were actually in Port-au-Prince (near the epicenter and sustaining a lot of damage) for a conference and also to pick up a pallet we sent with water pumps and the 670 shoes we collected.
Again, we have not been able to establish any contact with our friends. I’m sorry, Friends, my heart is not here tonight. It is in Haiti. Please be in prayer for our friends in Haiti.

Praying with you for the people in Haiti. So sad. Come, Lord Jesus.
